Utah's #1 TV Station is seeking News Department Interns. Description: Do you have what it takes to become a Television News Journalist? KUTV Channel 2 News wants to help motivated college students prepare for the future. Interns will be allowed to work next to professionals in their chosen field while experiencing a real world news environment. Interns will be exposed to several aspects of the newsroom, including Assignment Desk, Newscast Producing, Photography, Editing, Reporting and Production. Interns will help answer phones, log video, and research information for reporters and producers. Interns may also have the opportunity to accompany producers, reporters and anchors on assignment. Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 and attending an accredited institution majoring or specializing in a broadcast related field. Graduate students are also eligible.
