WLOS-TV, the ABC affiliate in beautiful Asheville, NC (DMA 36) has an immediate opening for a Reporter. You will need to be a journalist with a commitment to multi-platford news gathering, including, on-air, internet and mobile delivery. You will need to have 2-3 years experience reporting in a competitive deadline-driven, daily newscast environment. NO BEGINNERS! Your demo tape should display solid storytelling abilities with character driven stories, and strong on-camera presence. Excellent writing and live shot skills are a must. This position reports primarily for our 5-8am and noon newscast. Great attitude and willingness to work as a team required.
