Meld your classroom educational experiences with a state-of-the art broadcast and multimedia facility. WTTA-TV MY TV TAMPA BAY, a Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. station invites students to apply for SUMMER internship positions in our Creative Services Department. Students should have interests in multimedia and communications.

Qualified students will obtain experience in station promotions and commercial production - writing and spot conception skills, along with non-linear editing experience.

Some duties may include:

Creating ideas and writing scripts for promos and commercials

Assisting on commercial productions

Developing station marketing campaigns

Organizing station promotions and contests

Assisting in non-linear editing

General office tasks

If contacted you will also be required to submit 2 writing samples (graded class assignments or published work), and a non-returnable VHS or DVD sample reel.

This is a non-paid internship position. Internship time at WTTA must be coordinated with respective colleges and universities for credit level coursework under the sponsorship of educational faculty. In order to be considered you must be a college junior or senior.
